It will be a case of hair today, gone tomorrow for Evan Voyce, as he prepares to get his long locks shorn.

Evan, 15, from Diss, will be having all his hair cut off at the Cock Inn on Fair Green this Saturday, July 7, to help raise money for his planned trip to Kenya.

Evan hopes to join others for the month-long trip next year with Camps International, during which he will assist in building projects and help out at schools.

First he has to raise £3,000 for the trip and hopes that people will come along to the pub at 9pm, when a band has also been arranged, to help boost his coffers by making donations on the night.

He will also donate his hair to the Little Princess Trust, which provides wigs for children with cancer.
