Shelfanger Road, Roydon, near Diss to undergo pavement maintenance works
Work will begin on or shortly after Monday, to carry out essential pavement maintenance works on Shelfanger Road, Roydon.
It is anticipated that the work will take approximately four weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Two-way temporary traffic lights will be in place on Shelfanger road during the first three weeks of works and three-way temporary traffic lights will be in place during the final week of works. This is to allow the work to be carried out safely.
Pedestrian diversion routes are accessible from the Louie’s Lane/ Shelfanger Road junction at the northern end of the works and a temporary footpath between Millway Avenue and Shelfanger Road at the southern end of the works.
Access to the public right of way bordering the Diss and District Athletics Club will also be maintained.
The County Council thanks people for their patience while this work to replace the old worn-out surface is carried out.
The work will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
