Brome Grange to host Cook
In the week that he announced his retirement from Test cricket, it has been confirmed that the Brome Grange Hotel will host an evening with Alastair Cook.
The 33-year-old, who has scored more Test runs for England than any other batsman, will visit the hotel – near Diss – on Thursday, October 18.
And he will be joined at the event by former England international and national selector Geoff Miller, who will host a Q & A session with Cook before also telling his own story.
Tickets, which are priced at £35 and include a two-course meal, can be purchased by contacting the Brome Grange on 01379 870456 or by emailing info@bromegrangehotel.co.uk
Manager Julie Campbell said: "We have held evenings like this before but Alastair is probably our biggest coup.
"We have been trying to get him for a while and it is amazing that he has said yes."
